Dear Neighbors,
Our district has a long-standing legacy of excellent public education, demonstrated by Wasco High School's recent honor as a 2024 California Distinguished School. Thank you for your continued interest in, and support of our schools! Recognitions like these are because of the trust of our families and the community we serve.
To maintain our educational excellence and address our local school needs, the Board of Education unanimously placed Measure D – the Wasco Union High School District Upgrade, Safety, Student Achievement / Teacher Retention Measure – on the November 5th, 2024 ballot.
Measure D was placed on the ballot after several months of collecting feedback from you – the community we serve, on local school needs. If enacted, Measure D repairs and upgrades classrooms to provide career preparedness and job training programs, and improve school security and student health/safety.
