The WUHSD Board of Trustees has approved to proceed with placing a bond measure on the November 2024 ballot. Please see the full press release.

The WUHSD Board of Trustees meets the second Thursday of every month. The meetings are held at the Wasco High School in Room 202, just west of the Student Services Building (1900 Seventh Street) at 6:00 pm. It is most convenient to park in the Student Services parking lot and enter through the gates between the Student Services and the Science Building.

Title IX applies to harassment by students, harassment by administrators/teachers/staff, and harassment by volunteers or school visitors. For information related to the definition of sexual harassment, how to file a complaint of sexual harassment (Title IX), related statutes of limitations, and the investigation process and procedures please review the Wasco Union High School's board policy and administrative regulations on the Title IX page of the district website.

Bakersfield College is expanding access to college courses in Wasco for both high school students and adults. The Early College program at Wasco High allows high school students to begin taking college courses for free while in high school. Many of the college course offerings lead to a Certificate or Degree and many are transferable to the CSU and UC system. High School students can access college courses during the school day, after school, and/or over the summer as part of their Early College program and adults can take classes in the evening on the Independence High School campus. Do you need to submit a formal complaint? The district has established procedure to address allegations of unlawful discrimination and complaints alleging violation of state or federal laws governing educational programs. The Wasco Union High School District has placed Measure "D" on the November 5, 2024 local ballot. The Wasco Union High School District does not advocate for a "yes" vote or a "no" vote on this measure.
